“After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude which no one could count, from every nation and all tribes and peoples and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, and palm branches were in their hands;“
“And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; DEPART FROM ME, YOU WHO PRACTICE LAWLESSNESS.’ “
Two passages of scripture…two very different promises from the Lord!
The text from Revelation, weather or not literal, is still a certainty. It is a scene of glorious victory for those who belong to the Lord, who have fought the good fight, and have won the prize of heaven.
On the other hand, the text from Matthew is one of total and irreversible destruction, and it too is a certainty. It depicts a spiritual death, a separation from the Almighty God forever more. It portrays a multitude of poor souls who have lost their heavenly hope, or who never had it to begin with.
Each of us must choose which of these crowds we wish to stand with. Our choice is made while we are living…here and now. For these two outcomes are from a time and place when nothing more can be done by way of our own free will.
The time is now when we can impact our destiny. The time is now when we can go in either one of these two directions.
Please make your choice for salvation today!
